The BASE Line measurement captures information about people in four key areas.

This allows the mapping and assessment of people and teams, and provides greater information to help make more informed resourcing decisions. It is often stated that people are an organisation's greatest resource. This assessment provides the tools for better planning, ensuring you have the right people in the right place, at the right time – all with the correct skill set.

Behaviours & Traits – Can be summarised as the observable actions of people. How they conduct their selves. For example, how they react to dealing with customers under stress; what they do in a leadership position.

Attitudes & Beliefs – These are more internal and directly affect behaviour and traits. They can indicate how a person may perform in a future situation, and can also explain why a person acts a certain way in a particular scenario.

Skills & Competence – Is a measure of how a person can perform specific tasks, and to what proficiency. For example, compliance to HR legislation and processes; an ability to manage projects, and control their personal workload.

Education & Training – Provides a useful profile of a person's background. Helping to extract and identify further skills and competencies to be utilised. Education can be defined as a broadly based process to generally improve a person's performance or career. Training however, is more specific and aimed at helping people in defined circumstances.
